The Innovation Evaluation Tool attempts to measure the level of innovation within your company with regards to your CAPACITY and PROPENSITY to be innovative.

CAPACITY

has been taken to mean the actual or potential ability to perform (eg. qualifications and training of staff)

PROPENSITY

has been taken to mean a natural inclination or tendency (eg. proportion of turnover genreated form new products/services/innovations)

• The assessment is a very quick process; taking approximately no longer than 15 minutes to complete.
• Once the questions are completed organisations can compare their own evaluation with other anonymised data by sector, size or geographical data.
• Identifying weaknesses in an organisation's Capacity or Propensity to innovate enables extremely targeted innovation support.
• The IET uses only qualitative questions looking in detail at organisational culture.
• Regular evaluation using the tool can indicate the level of innovation culture shift in an organisation.
